Gazing at Meteora

This picture dates from July 2004. Meteora is located in Northern Greece; monks many years ago built monasteries in these mountain like rocks. I took this picture as we were living Meteora. Enjoy...

Gorgeous shot Lia! I'm planning on going to Greece for a couple of weeks in June with my girlfriend and I was reading about Meteora. We were initially just going to see Athens, Delphi, and a bunch of the islands but I think Meteora may be worth a detour, would you recommend it yourself?
